An Hour Afterward

What a wonderful way to end the series. Beautiful, heartwarming, and just confusing enough for it to be Lost. I feel full. And I want to feel like this for as long as possible.

  1. I'm glad you liked it. I did too. At first I think I was a little shocked just because it was over, but in the end...well, they found peace, each and every one of them. (The good guys, anyway.) And isn't that what this show has been about? FINDING what was LOST to the characters--the sense of wholeness and peace. And it just so happens that the writers are romantics...most of the characters could only truly achieve that sense of satisfaction from life once they had been reunited with their partners. It was through all the relationship-building that each character was able to develop as a person and realize who he/she really is. It truly was beautiful, all of it. I think it was just the right balance of open-endedness and conclusion, too. It just wouldn't be LOST if there weren't little details for us to argue and theorize about.

"I feel full." Agreed. Now I can only hope I have a corresponding mind-blowing dream about everything as I go to sleep. :)
